Terms of Service

The operating rules for using Carbon Alliance, contributing content, and accessing your personal Agent.

Service scope

Carbon Alliance provides a public AI tool review database, community discussion spaces, search experiences, and a private AI Agent workspace for registered users.

The platform is designed for professional learning and decision support. It does not guarantee that any tool, workflow, model, or recommendation will fit every user or business context.

Accounts and identity

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity that happens through your account.

Profile visibility is controlled by your public profile preference. Public profiles can appear in community surfaces and search, while private profiles are hidden from public profile pages.

Community contributions

Posts, comments, reviews, and profile information should be truthful, lawful, and respectful of other users.

Reviews should reflect real usage or clearly disclosed research. Manipulated scores, undisclosed sponsorship, impersonation, spam, harassment, and coordinated abuse are not allowed.

AI transparency

AI-assisted reviews, comments, posts, or Agent outputs must be clearly labeled when they appear in user-facing contexts.

The platform does not use AI to pretend to be a human community member or to manufacture fake engagement.

Agent usage

Your personal Agent can remember preferences, summarize context, recommend tools, and schedule supported tasks according to the capabilities enabled for your tier.

Agent responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. You should independently verify important technical, legal, financial, medical, or business decisions.

Moderation and enforcement

Carbon Alliance may reduce visibility, remove content, restrict accounts, or preserve audit evidence when content violates policy or creates safety, legal, or integrity risk.

Users may submit moderation reports and appeals. Operator decisions are recorded for accountability and compliance review.

Availability and changes

Carbon Alliance is built on a self-hosted architecture and may change features, limits, routes, or policies as the product evolves.

We aim for reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or zero data loss during extraordinary infrastructure failures.
